so the owner goes to a public meeting to say that he isn't interested in the football crowd, yet invests money extending the bar, bogs, covering the outside and employing extra staff, then the place mysteriously burns down a few days before the start of the season.

Something doesn't add up here.

They never shut when doing the place up, chippys building the bar extention smoking in the pub, motorbike by the pool table

So I reckon they be open with a BBQ to mask the smell of burn wood
